Problem: Our Problem is to build a fully functioning Aquaponics system. This means that the poop/bacteria from the fish has to feed the plants so that we don't have to use soil. Also, the plants have to filter the water for fish, so the two organisms are providing some kind of benefit for each other. Then, eventually, the food that the plants produce can be used to feed the fish.

Solution: Our solution is making a design that fits the requirements and can provide a safe living environment for the fish and plants. We need to make it so that the plants will properly receive all the bacteria they need from the poop so that they don't have to rely on soil. At the same time we need a good filtering system for the water so that the fish can be healthy and not have to swim in there own poop

Feedback: For the most part our group enjoyed building an Aquaponics system. We think that it was very challenging because even though we have done many projects in the past, none of them required living organisms like fish. Having live Goldfish in our project just added a whole new aspect of engineering that we didn't know much about previously. I think we all learned something from this project.
